XBIZ Amsterdam 2024: My Experience Attending It

If you’ve read my previous blog post, you already knew that I planned to attending XBIZ Europa this year once again. I had participated in XBIZ Berlin in 2022, XBIZ Amsterdam last year and now XBIZ Amsterdam once again this year. So, how did it all go?

It all started pretty smoothly by taking a 2 hour flight to Amsterdam. I had booked a free taxi through Booking that was supposed to take me straight to the hotel. Little did I know that I’d get a bit lost in the massive Shiphol airport and run around for at least 25 minutes until I finally find the driver. Honestly, he was such a gem by being patient and guiding me over the phone to the pick up place. Of course, in such a big airport they have more than just one taxi pick up place which confused the hell out of me. But in the end, I made it. So, sweaty but excited, I was on my way to the hotel.

Amsterdam was even more beautiful than I remembered it from the last time. And discovered the most fun cocktail that me and a bunch of other girls got addicted to. We kept ordering so many Panda Coladas that they eventually run out of them. As you can see in the picture, the cocktail was the same consistency as smooth ice cream and tastes exactly like coconut ice cream with a bit of rum. Perfection!

The next day I decided to take things easy by only attending speeding networking and one of the panels. After that I went to grab some coffee at Back to black. A lovely bonus to my cold brew was this cat whose name I unfortunately don’t remember. But hey – coffee and cats are two of my three favourite things that start with C. As a reader of my blog, it won’t take you too long to figure out the last one.

The first day of speednetworking was so intense that I didn’t have any energy left to attend speed networking the next day.

On day 2 I also had a collab planned with the lovely Miss Anna Lynx that I had the pleasure to meet for the first time. We had a D/s scene planned (which was also my first ever GG scene) and with my porn sister Laura Ropes as a camera woman, it turned out really great. What makes it even better – we got my first time getting fucked by a strap on on camera! Isn’t that exciting? It sure is for me. I’m impatiently waiting for the end result just like you are.

Unfortunately, by the second evening I felt completely exhausted and skipped Vixen Red light party because both my social battery and my energy were low. So, instead of that, I went to one of the Amsterdam’s famous coffee shops to smoke and have some snacks. Despite being on my own, I was having a nice and chill time until I started feeling sleepy. Day 2 ended with me falling asleep early in my hotel bed and possibly having the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Does anyone else feels like they’ve slept on a cloud after they’ve smoked some weed?

Day three consisted chill breakfast with my newly made friends, more cold brew, walking around the city and attending another panel. While I did think I’d be attending a ton of panels on both days, life tends to have other plans. And sometimes just socialising, brainstorming and collaborating with other creators can be more enjoyable and useful than sitting at a panel that might or might not be beneficial for me.

It was so lovely running into the wonderful Sunflower Doll again. It’s been ages since our Warehouse X time together!

The Awards night to me felt a little underwhelming, if I’m being totally honest. At first, I had to stand in queues for hours in my high heels which really tested my pain limits. While I am a masochist, the type of pain that makes me feel like I’ll collapse on the floor is not my cup of tea. Oh, and the red carpet pictures… There was only one, and I won’t include it because it was so bad. I feel so embarrased that I might never do red carpets again.

How gorgeous is Mary Jane? I’m swooning!

When we finally got to see the Awards, I was really rooting for all of my friends that were nominated, including Cherry Tart as The Best Female Streamer, Alec Hardy as The Best Male Clip Creator and Callum & Cole as The Best Male Streamer. Although only Callum & Colle won, I am proud of all of my friends for being nominated and being genuinely awesome people. What else? Oh yeah, I suppose it’s time for photo dump of the Awards evening now!

It’s always such a joy to run into the adult industry’s cutest couple. And, of course, one of XBIZ winners this year!

And now the final day. XBIZ is over, but I still had some spare time to spend in the lovely Amsterdam. So, I decided to start my day by visiting Amsterdam’s cat cafe called Kattencafe Kopjes. I stayed there for about an hour and a half, just watching the cats relaxing in this little room and had some food and drinks while I was at it. One thing that stood out to me was how relaxed and happy cats seemed. I’ve been to quite a few cat cafes in my life and have seen some stressed out cats, but the cats at Kopjes seemed to be in their own element and feeling good.

Once the cat cafe visit was over, it was time for another late breakfast with some adult industry friends, including Sensual Shibari and Jade May. Some more coffee, more joints and more brainstorming for the future until it was time to head to the airport and catch my flight back.

Overall, I quite enjoyed this XBIZ, mainly due to the social aspect. However, I also realized that I’ve never been as easily exhausted at a convention as I was this time. Why was that? I’m not sure. But unfortunately, after spending a day and a half asleep, I realized that I was feeling quite under the weather. I suppose, it could have been another post even bug. You know how it goes with mingling with lots of people at once, right? There’s no need to kiss anyone to get a sore throat and lose your voice like I did.

So here I am, writing this blog post from my bed and profusely sweating because my body temperature is probably rising again. If you’d like to cheer me up and send me a little something for tea and medicine while I get better, the best way to do it is on YouPay.

Thank you for reading and don’t forget to subscribe!

Much love,
